This is a non-profit website, designed with two primary goals in mind:

1. To raise awareness of the issues facing us with regard to how our health is being effected by industry actions and government policy.

2. Once awareness has been raised, people often want to know "What can I do?" This site will link to various pages with information about how people can get involved.

There is a lot of good information available. This site does not seek to replicate it, but rather point the reader in the direction of these great resources.

If you would like to Protect Our Health, and are wondering what you can do to help then please take action in whatever way you can.

If you find something you'd like to share then we'd love for you to contribute to this site by writing a short article about it.

The requirements are:
1. The text describing the resource(s) must be between 200 and 2,000 words.
2. You can either describe the resource(s), review them or explain why you think this is a resource people need to know about.
3. Do not promote your own website or a website you represent unless it is a non-profit.
4. A 100px by 100px photo you or your logo.

In return you will get:
1. Credit as the author.
2. "Do follow" links to your website, facebook page and twitter account.
3. A description of who you are and the services you provide in an author bio box.

All resources linked to from this site must be approved by Helen Innes to ensure they fit with the goals of the site. You are welcome to send a brief outline via the Contact Form before writing the full article.
